Aparupa Ojha

Aparupa is a clinical psychologist registered with the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) and trained in psycho-oncology from Tata Medical Center. She has been associated with the Mental Health field for over 5 years. Her area of interest includes clinical as well as preventive work.
In her clinical practice, she has catered to the emotional concerns of children, adolescents, and adults through evidence-based psycho-therapeutic interventions. You can consult her for depression, anxiety and stress, obsessive-compulsive disorder, relationship difficulties, and substance dependence to name a few. She is also adept at helping parents with concerns related to their children such as school refusal, exam stress, social anxiety, and others.
As a psychotherapist, she has an inclination towards Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment (ACT), and other Mindfulness-based interventions. She also follows an eclectic approach based on the client’s concerns.

She also specialises in Queer-affirmative and Kink-affirmative approaches. She employs empathy and positive regard in her practice, while also incorporating a sense of humour in her sessions.
